The mono-oriented polypropylene backing offers high adaptability, excellent tensile strength, and low elongation, ensuring reliable stabilization of goods and packaging. The high-performance synthetic rubber adhesive system provides strong initial adhesion to both polar and non-polar surfaces and allows for temporary securing without discoloration. Thanks to its effortless, even unwinding, the tape is ideal for both manual and automatic applications, making it the preferred choice in professional packaging processes. After use, the tape can be removed without leaving residue or discoloration, thereby supporting clean and efficient workflows.

Key Features

Standardized, non-staining strapping tape tesa® 4288 PV10

Backing material: mono-oriented polypropylene (MOPP), tensioned polypropylene backing

Adhesive: Synthetic rubber with high initial tack

High tensile strength and low elongation for reliable stabilization

Removable without leaving residue and does not cause discoloration

Thickness: 114 µm

Color: black

Elongation at break: 35%

Tensile strength: 300 N/cm

Adhesion to steel: 6 N/cm

Temperature resistance (30 min.): 0 °C

Suitable for manual and automatic applications thanks to effortless unwinding

Ideal for temporary securing, palletizing, and reinforcement

Available in 4 variants:

Dimensions: 66 m x 15 mm

Dimensions: 66 m x 19 mm

Dimensions: 66 m x 25 mm

Dimensions: 66 m x 50 mm

Applications

Medium-duty bundling of packages, profiles, and components

Medium-duty palletizing and securing of loads

Reinforcement of cardboard boxes and packaging

Coil tabbing and securing of wound materials

Temporary securing of components during storage or transport

Use in automated and manual packaging lines

Summary

The tesa® 4288 MOPP strapping tape combines high tensile strength, low elongation, and strong initial adhesion with clean, residue-free removal and non-staining application.
