The high-quality sPVC backing material gives the tape high durability and tear resistance, making it ideal for masking frames, facades, and other building components. Thanks to its natural rubber adhesive, the tape adheres reliably even to slightly rough surfaces and offers long-term protection against UV radiation. It can be used in a temperature range of +5 to +60 °C and can be removed without leaving any residue after up to 2 weeks of outdoor use. The cross-grooved, embossed backing allows for easy tearing by hand and ensures a straight edge every time—ideal for clean, professional results. Additionally, the tape is excellent for bundling and securing a wide variety of materials, making it a versatile tool on any construction site and in any toolbox.

Key Features

Cross-grooved sPVC plastering tape for exterior plastering and painting work

Backing material: sPVC / PVC film, Adhesive: natural rubber

Dimensions: 33 m x 50 mm, Thickness: 130 µm

Color: white, paint adhesion: low, sharp paint edges: medium

UV resistance: up to 2 weeks, long-term protection against UV radiation

Temperature resistance: +5 to +60 °C

Adheres securely even to slightly rough surfaces

Can be removed without leaving residue for 2 weeks

Moisture resistance: very good

Tearability by hand: very good; the scored backing ensures a straight edge

Tear resistance: yes, elongation at break: 130%, tear strength: 22 N/cm

Flexibility: yes, normal adhesive strength

Adhesive strength on steel: 1.6 N/cm

Also suitable for bundling and securing objects

A practical addition to any toolbox

Applications

Masking during exterior plastering work

Painting work on facades, window, and door frames

Masking and plastering tape for protecting frames and surfaces

Bundling cables, pipes, and other materials

Securing objects on construction sites or in trade applications

Use in damp environments thanks to excellent moisture resistance

Summary

The tesa 60397 sPVC Plaster Tape, Standard (cross-grooved), combines high durability, reliable adhesion, and ease of use with UV and temperature resistance, making it the ideal all-purpose masking tape for professional exterior plastering and painting projects, as well as for securely bundling and securing a wide variety of materials.

For more information, please refer to the data sheets

https://altruan.ch/en/products/tesa-60397-spvc-plastering-tape-cross-grooved-standard-33-m-x-50-mm-white-1-roll
