What does Sterillium work against? Bacteria, enveloped & non-enveloped viruses

Sterillium works against enveloped viruses, such as the coronavirus, against influenza viruses and hepatitis B viruses. The infographic illustrates how Sterillium disinfectant works against bacteria and viruses. Sterillium also works against non-enveloped viruses. This type of virus, which includes polioviruses, human papillomaviruses and polyomaviruses, is more resistant to regular disinfectants. Sterillium acts reliably as a virucide against enveloped viruses.

The effectiveness of Sterillium disinfectants is divided into three levels:

Level 1 stands for a "limited virucidal" effect, which inactivates all enveloped viruses.

Level 2 is described as "limited virucidal PLUS." In addition to enveloped viruses, it also inactivates three specific non-enveloped viruses (adenoviruses, noroviruses, and rotaviruses).

Level 3 is the highest level, labeled as "virucidal." Disinfectants in this category are the hardest to inactivate, but they are effective against all types of viruses, both enveloped and non-enveloped.
