Floor Coating

Coating - Durable Protection and Perfect Shine for Every Floor

A professional coating is the key to resilient, well-maintained, and representative floor surfaces. It not only protects against wear, moisture, and chemical influences but also gives the floor a uniform, high-quality appearance. Especially in high-traffic areas - such as public facilities, offices, or healthcare areas - a professional coating ensures long-term value preservation and lasting cleanliness.

With the right coating, nearly any floor can be optimized: from PVC to linoleum to stone or resin. The applied layers form a protective seal that is both durable and easy to maintain. This keeps floors not only hygienically clean but also visually appealing - day after day.

What Makes High-Quality Coatings Stand Out

A good floor coating combines protection, care, and aesthetics. It creates a durable surface that withstands mechanical stress while remaining easy to clean. High-quality products are characterized by optimal adhesion, even application, and long-lasting gloss effects.

A particularly proven product is the Kiehl Legnodur-Titan coating, which with the Kiehl Durator Satin Matte creates a resistant, silk-gloss surface - ideal for heavily used areas. The Kiehl Legnodur-TiGloss Coating provides brilliant high gloss and reliably protects the floor from abrasion. For a more subtle, matte finish, the Kiehl Legnodur-Satina coating offers the perfect solution when an unobtrusive but robust protective layer is desired.

High-quality coatings impress with:

• High resistance to mechanical and chemical influences
• Smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces with long-lasting shine
• Slip-resistant effect for more safety in everyday life
• Easy maintenance without extensive basic cleaning
• Uniform appearance and protection even with intensive use

The use of such coatings creates durable, hygienic, and attractive floors that withstand daily demands.

Application and practical tips for a perfect coating

A successful coating begins with the right preparation. Before application, the floor should be thoroughly cleaned and completely dry to ensure optimal adhesion of the coating. Old layers, fats, or residues must be carefully removed to achieve an even result.

For application, the coating is evenly distributed with a suitable mop or applicator. Usually, two to three thin layers are sufficient to achieve optimal protection and gloss. Sufficient drying time should be allowed between each layer to ensure a durable bond of the layers.

After complete curing, the floor can be cleaned as usual. Special mopping care products are suitable for regular maintenance, refreshing the coating and extending its protective effect. If necessary, the surface can later be regenerated by reapplying.

Tip: Always use products that are coordinated with each other - such as cleaners, care products, and coatings from the same product line. This way, the floor remains permanently resistant and retains its shine for many years.

Focus on quality, sustainability, and service

Professional floor coatings contribute not only to longevity but also to hygiene and sustainability. Modern formulations are environmentally friendly, low-emission, and free of aggressive solvents. At the same time, they are easy to process and impress with excellent yield.

A high-quality coating significantly reduces the cleaning effort as it repels dirt and moisture. This not only conserves resources but also extends cleaning intervals.

For a complete range of floor care and protection, the following complementary product groups are recommended:

• Floor Care - for optimal preparation and long-lasting care
• Cleaning Equipment - for even and efficient processing
• Cleaning Cloths - for care, after-treatment, and gloss retention
• Dosing Aids & Empty Bottles - for precise application and economical consumption
