What are the needs of those who have recently given birth?

Here you will find maternity leave templates for the period after the birth, for example from Hartmann. They are soft and absorbent and reliably absorb the weekly flow.

What is the weekly flow?

The postpartum discharge is the wound secretion that drains from the uterus after birth while it heals. It usually lasts a few weeks. If you have any questions, your midwife or doctor can help you.

What size do I need?

The templates come in different sizes, such as mini, midi and maxi. In the first few days the weekly flow is usually stronger, then larger templates help. Later, smaller ones are often sufficient.

Why not normal pads?

Maternity pads are larger and more absorbent than normal pads and are tailored to the period after birth. It's best to discuss with your midwife whether you can use tampons.
