Delta-Net, synthetic knit tube

Synthetic knit sleeve for skin protection under casts—moisture-repellent, available in white and black.

Description

Under a cast, a knit sleeve protects the skin from the cast material. Delta-Net is made of synthetic fibers and is particularly suitable for semi-rigid support casts: The sleeve allows the cast to fit anatomically and snugly against the skin without requiring additional padding.

The material is elastic, skin-friendly, and moisture-repellent—the latter is crucial for water-resistant cast casts, as an absorbent undergarment would negate their benefit. The wrinkle-free fit ensures comfort throughout the entire treatment period. Available in white and black.

Key Features

  • synthetic tricot tubular bandage
  • particularly suitable for use under semi-rigid support casts
  • No additional padding required with semi-rigid cast material
  • elastic, skin-friendly, and moisture-repellent
  • crease-free fit
  • Not made with natural rubber latex
  • Widths from 2.5 cm to 15 cm, 22.8 m in length
  • Available in white and black

Applications

  • Skin protection under semi-rigid support bandages
  • Skin protection under rigid and support bandages
  • Dressing protection
  • Securing wound dressings and bandages
  • Can be worn for up to several weeks

Summary

With water-resistant cast dressings, the underlay determines whether the patient can shower. Delta-Net is moisture-repellent rather than absorbent—and eliminates the need for additional padding with semi-rigid dressings.
