Description

Continuous wound inspection is an important part of preventing postoperative wound infections—but this usually requires removing the dressing. Leukomed Control solves this problem with complete transparency: Both the backing film and the wound pad, which consists of separate hydropolymer gel islands, are transparent. The wound can be viewed at any time without changing the dressing.

This saves time and materials and spares the patient the inconvenience of a dressing change. The hydropolymer gel islands absorb exudate; depending on the condition of the wound, the dressing can remain in place for up to 14 days.
