Platrix, hard plaster bandages

Platrix, Hard Plaster Bandages

Hard plaster bandage made of cotton with a natural plaster mixture—excellent moldability; only a few layers are needed.

Description

The treatment of fresh fractures requires a casting material that is easy to work with and highly moldable. Platrix fulfills both requirements and is cost-effective: just a few layers are enough to create a durable support cast.

The bandage consists of a cotton backing with a special natural plaster mixture. Its advantages include excellent moldability, minimal soaking loss, and the uniform consistency of the soaked bandage. The longer open time allows for flexibility during application, while the high final strength provides support afterward. Platrix is bright white and is also available as a longette for custom cutting.
