Artiflex natural, padding cotton, non-sterile

Artiflex Natur, padding wadding, non-sterile

Highly puffed padding bandage made of 100% natural fibers for use as padding under rigid and support bandages.

Description

A padding bandage protects exposed areas from pressure sores caused by hard plaster or cast material. Because a cast is often worn for several weeks, the voluminous material must be designed so that the skin remains unharmed throughout the treatment.

Artiflex Natur is made of 100% natural fibers—this distinguishes this version from Artiflex and Artiflex Soft, which are made of synthetic fibers. The bandage has a soft surface texture, fits without wrinkles, is breathable, gentle on the skin, and conforms to the body. Casts lined with this bandage can be easily removed using plaster shears or an oscillating saw.
