Comprinet forte 23, compression stocking
Medical compression stockings for thrombosis prevention with 23 mmHg — four sizes, sold as a pair in a poly bag.
Description
Comprinet forte supports venous function and prevents edema through high compression of the leg. This version provides 23 mmHg—the lower of the two compression levels—and is supplied as a pair in a poly bag.
Comprinet forte is made of a soft, breathable fabric. The anatomical fit with a knitted-in heel ensures a secure fit, while an integrated soft adhesive band provides a non-slip hold on the thigh. The colored size marking on the heel simplifies size selection, and the open toe allows for quick assessment of blood circulation. The sewn-in label features size information printed in wash-resistant ink, along with a unique barcode and a grid for documenting wash cycles. When washed according to the specific care instructions, the stocking can be washed up to 10 times without the compression profile changing. Comprinet forte 23 is made of 83% polyamide, 14% spandex, and 3% neoprene. Available in four sizes, graded by ankle, calf, and thigh circumference.

Summary
The grid on the label is not just a gimmick: A prophylactic stocking loses its compression profile after ten washes, and without documentation, no one on the ward knows which wash it was.
