Description

Cutimed Sorbact Hydroactive B combines the Sorbact principle with flexible exudate management. Bacteria such as MRSA and VRE, as well as fungi, naturally bind to the DACC-coated surface, where they are irreversibly trapped and their growth is inhibited—the bacterial count in the wound decreases with every dressing change.

In addition, the hydropolymer component creates a moist wound environment, thereby supporting autolytic debridement: the body breaks down dead tissue on its own when conditions are right. The adhesive border secures the dressing without the need for additional material.
