Beschreibung

Delta-Cast Elite ist ein glasfaserfreies Castmaterial aus elastischem Polyestergewirk mit wasseraktivierbarem Polyurethanharz. Das elastische Trägermaterial unterstützt die faltenfreie Anlage gerade an schwierigen Körperpartien wie Ferse und Ellenbogen — dadurch sinkt die Gefahr von Taschenbildung und damit das Risiko von Instabilität und Druckstellen.

Die Lamination des gewickelten Verbands ergibt eine rigide, sichere Immobilisation bei geringem Gewicht. Die glatte Oberfläche trägt sich angenehm und schont die Kleidung. Angelegt wird mit handelsüblichen Untersuchungshandschuhen; der fertige Verband ist röntgentransparent.
