HydroClean® mini is an innovative, hydroactive superabsorbent wound dressing designed for effective wound cleansing and optimal wound bed preparation.

Description

HydroClean® mini is specially designed for the treatment of dry, slightly, and moderately exuding wounds, particularly those with impaired healing. This hydroactive wound dressing supports the cleansing and granulation of chronic and hard-to-heal wounds. At the core of the wound dressing is a superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP) embedded in cellulose and pulp fibers and activated with Ringer’s solution. For up to three days, HydroClean® mini continuously releases Ringer’s solution while simultaneously absorbing wound exudate, thereby enabling interactive, continuous wound irrigation. The innovative SAP inactivates matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that interfere with wound healing and can thus reactivate stagnant healing processes in chronic wounds.
