Polishing pad made of lambswool and polyester for random-orbit polishers, designed for deep scratches and heavily weathered paint.

Description

The pad consists of a blended fabric made of natural lambswool and polyester. This combination delivers high removal rate without overheating or splashing—the two problems that pure wool pads tend to have in practice. It is used where deep scratches and heavily weathered paint need to be removed.

In the two-step random-orbit process, it serves as the first step and is designed to work with PROFILINE ExCut. The smallest size, at 80 mm, is intended for small random-orbit polishers with a 75-mm backing plate.

Place the polishing pad centrally on the backing plate and avoid overheating the area being polished. Never polish with high pressure or at a steep angle; blow off the pad regularly with compressed air during use and clean the pads regularly.
