tesafix® 4959 is a double-sided, translucent nonwoven tape with very high initial tack and excellent aging resistance for versatile, professional bonding applications.

Description

tesafix® 4959 is a high-quality double-sided nonwoven tape coated with a light- and weather-resistant, modified acrylate adhesive. This adhesive is largely resistant to plasticizers and offers very high initial adhesion as well as good shear strength. Thanks to its excellent moisture and UV resistance, the tape is ideal for permanent bonding applications indoors and in protected outdoor areas. Whether for bonding signs, panels, and scales; applying door wraps in the automotive sector; or for self-adhesive finishing of plastic bags, mailing envelopes, continuous forms, posters, and displays—tesafix® 4959 ensures a reliable, clean, and long-lasting bond. It is also perfectly suited for continuous bonding of paper and film webs.
