tesafix 4970 is a high-tack, double-sided PVC film adhesive tape for long-lasting mounting applications on a wide variety of surfaces.

Description

The double-sided tesafix 4970 PVC film tape from tesa® is a 225 µm thick, white mounting tape featuring a highly modified acrylic adhesive and a robust PVC backing. It offers outstanding adhesive performance and is used across a wide range of industries, particularly for mounting heavy signs, decorative point-of-sale (POS) materials, and sales displays. The modified acrylic adhesive ensures reliable bonding even on substrates with low surface energy, as well as on rough or slightly soiled surfaces. Thanks to its strong adhesive and PVC backing, the tape is highly resistant to plasticizers, moisture, aging, UV light, and many chemicals. Its very high initial adhesion enables an immediately functional bond, making tesafix 4970 ideal for long-term indoor mounting applications.
