Description

tesa® 4338 is a high-quality premium masking tape specifically developed for professional painting processes at temperatures up to 120 °C. The bright green tape is used in particular in industries such as shipping, commercial vehicles, aviation, and the painting of rail vehicles. Thanks to the high flexibility of the lightly creped paper backing, even curves and edges can be masked precisely, while the weather-resistant natural rubber adhesive provides excellent initial adhesion. The tape can remain on painted surfaces outdoors for up to one week, is UV-resistant for up to 7 days, and thus allows for interruptions in the painting process as well as outdoor storage. After the painting and curing process, the masking tape can be removed without leaving any residue, even after multiple drying cycles—up to six cycles at 120 °C for 40 minutes each. It offers excellent handling, easy and controlled unwinding, and finger-friendly application, and guarantees clean, sharp paint edges as well as very good adhesion to paint and primer.
