Beschreibung

Eine Gilchrist-Orthese wird angelegt, wenn ein Arm nicht mehr mitarbeitet. Genau daran scheitern die meisten Konstruktionen: Der Patient braucht Hilfe. Die Tricodur Gilchrist Smart löst das über einen zentral vor dem Körper positionierten Hakenverschluss — der Patient kann die Orthese mit einer Hand überziehen, verschließen und justieren.

Der Verschluss signalisiert mit einem hörbaren Klick, dass er sicher geschlossen ist; auch das Gurtsystem lässt sich einhändig nachstellen. Der Oberarm wird dabei sicher in Adduktionsstellung fixiert.
